Introduction
This cultural tour offers unique opportunity to live along with nomads at the remote highland location of Arkhangai province. Mongolian nomads are famous for their hospitality and desire to share their experience with everybody who came with peace. Nomadic way of life is uniquely arranged everyday routine to follow fresh pastures for their cattle throughout the year. You will stay at the nomad’s family household accommodated in a separate Ger, but being fully exposed to their daily routine. It is great opportunity to establish friendly ties with Mongolian Nomads family. The family will provide you with horse or yak transportation for local sightseeing and short trips. If the family have to move in search of fresh pastures you will also required doing so.

Apart from that you will be able to visit the most visited sites of Mongolian ancient history and natural beauty with stunning views of untouched wilderness on the way to the remote countryside.

Tour accommodation is combination of overnights in ger camp and tent camps apart from 2 nights in hotel in Ulaanbaatar,7 nights at the family. Breakfast and dinner will be provided at overnight camps and lunch will be taken en route. A good experienced cook will accompany you through out of your field journey. The journey will be on 4x4 auto allowing the traveller to experience brilliant green countryside of Mongolia.

         Tour Program
Day 1 - Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Arrival and accommodation. City tour, including a visit to the Gandantegchilen Monastery with its 26m high gold-plated Buddha statue and other tourist’s attractions of the capital city. The evening program includes a Folk group performance followed by a dinner in one of the best restaurants of Ulaanbaatar.

Day 2 - National Park of Hustai

Morning visit the National History Museum. There you will see artefacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present, and displays of the development of Mongolian arts and culture. Drive to the National Park of Hustai. Hiking tour to explore the unique landscape of the park which features mountain steppe, sand dunes and river wetlands.

Accommodation: Comfortable traditional ger dwellings at the Ger camp.

Day 3 - Przewalski horses, Kharkhorin

Early in the morning walking tour to watch the Przewalski’s horses, the only species of wild horse which was discovered at the end of the 19th century. Drive to Kharkhorin, explore the ruins of the 13th century capital of the Mongolian Empire and the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the biggest monastery of 16th century surrounded by 400mX400m walls build from the ruins of ancient Capital City Kharakhorin.

Day 4 -Orkhon Waterfall

Drive westward along the Orhon river valley. Lunch en route in the area of beautiful network of small mountain rivers that offer excellent pastureland for the herds of horses and yaks. The next stop will be on the Orkhon river waterfall.

Day 5 - Hiking tour and Tsenher hot springs

Morning hiking tour around the waterfall, along the gorges and up to the surrounding mountains. After a camp lunch drive (180km) to the northwest for the hot springs. On the site relaxation in a hot spa and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of these famous springs.

Day 6 - 12 Do as nomads do

Day 13 - Ugiin lake

Horse riding tour in the early morning and head to the Ugii Lake which is famous for its resident and migrant birds. . Here you will have ample of time for walking, swimming in lake and fishing.

Day - 14

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Have a free afternoon to stroll around the city and do some shopping.

Day 15 - Departure

After your breakfast in the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport.
